Real Estate Photography for Deicorp Constructions

For our real estate photography gig with Deicorp Constructions, we’ve photographed some of their recently completed housing developments. The pictures represent a mix of hero shots for advertising purposes as well as, design-focused shots that reveal the design elements of each development. We’ve worked with Decor Constructions over many years, so we were extremely familiar with the style of photographs needed. Pre-production We did site reccies to determine the best angles for the hero shots and the right time of day to shoot them. Production We employed a total of 3 DSLR’s places on 3 tripods with an intervalometer (used primarily for...

UNSW Dean Research Awards 2016

Event photography has always had us by our hearts and we love how each event presents with it a brand-new canvas coupled with a number of interesting challenges. This time, and for the fourth time in a row, we were approached by the University of South Wales, to cover their coveted UNSW Dean Research Awards. The venue was a beautiful location; a bar by the end of the Wharf. The time was dusk and as the event progressed into the evening, we managed to capture a number of exciting and euphoric moments, especially those of the winners. Here’s a...

Event photography: Viewing for the Max Dupain auction

Max Dupain is one of Australia’s most revered photographers and we love his work! So, when Mossgreen approached us for event photography for a viewing event of the highly anticipated Max Dupain auction, we were truly stoked. To give you a little background, Mossgreen is a specialist in single owner auctions for collections covering fine art and antiques. The viewing was organised at Mossgreen’s brand new Sydney premises. As most viewings go, potential bidders were given the opportunity to view first hand all of Max Dupain’s artworks that would be up for auction. The brief was to capture the audience mingling and viewing...

Custom furniture photography: Tables by Prototype

Good design inspires our work immensely. And in keeping with our love for custom furniture photography, we bring you our recent photo shoot with our custom furniture client, Prototype. We shot on location at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School and the brief was to photograph custom desks supplied and installed by Prototype. Walking into a room full of tables and chairs can feel quite daunting sometimes, but after a quick assessment of the venue, we quickly arrived on how best to capture the furniture while sticking to the brief. Our goal here was to not only capture...

LNG18 Perth: Business Event Photography

LNG18 stands for the 18th International Conference & Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas. It is touted as having the largest number of LNG leaders worldwide as plenary speakers.  And this was true of their 18th edition held in Perth in April earlier this year too. With over 5000 participants, 250 exhibitors from over 60 countries, the event was colossal at best. We were there in person to witness its sheer magnitude and also capture the energy on venue, on behalf of our clients Pico Australia, Design Team, among others. As the custom stand and event photographers we’ve captured  important...

Advertising photography: Chairs by Abalos

Advertising photography is at the core of what we do and love, and over the years we’ve created compelling stories and worked on an assortment of campaigns for a number of brands.  Most recently we worked alongside industrial designer Dennis Abalos to create marketing-rich visual content for his new furniture range, the Saddler Collection. He intended to launch the collection at the highly-acclaimed design trade event, Denfair in Melbourne and needed our photographs to mirror his sensibilities and aesthetics. What’s interesting is that every piece of furniture in this collection has been handcrafted and so, our goal was to...

Vicinity Group manages some $22 billion in assets across their retail spectrum. We have been recently working with Vicinity Centres in regional areas of New South Wales and Queensland to photograph some of their shopping complexes for the purposes of: national collateral, leasing and development brochures, website usage, presentations and the Novion annual report and results announcements. The photographs needed to portray busy centres to appeal to their investors. The aim is to combine key retail clients, (Woolworths, Coles, Aldi, Kmart etc) location/architectural features within the centres and busy areas such as foodcourts with shoppers frequenting the shopping centres. Areas...
